This Sun Oaks DC is my preferred kite for lifting my KAP rig and for its predictable flying characteristics. It is so simple to assemble in the field, easy to adjust its angle of attack and easy to launch. It is well mannered in a lull as it coasts forward like a glider. It really ripples its trailing edges in high wind, but stays steady when anchored with a big tail. This is my best flying big kite, no comparison. |
