It sounds like something might be wrong with the particular spinner you have because we've sold hundreds of this one and the Rainbow version with very few problems. The Magic Crystals will need more wind than a windsock to spin, or even more wind than a Duette that has a vane that helps to catch the wind but you should still be pleased with the spinning ability of this product.
