AVanover, 2007-07-18
When I got this kite, I got it cause of it's looks. I didn't really expect it to fly real well. I took it out on the first flight in winds about 5 to 10 mph and was surprised how well it handled. I think of myself as an average kite flier so there may be some weaknesses I didn't see but it flew great in my book. It oversteered less than a (old) jam session but was slower than the psycho. It stalled alot better than I thought it would with a split sail and performed all the tricks I know without a problem. Axles,Cascades,Coin tosses, fades.....all the basic stuff.I had so much fun with it I lost track of time. It was great. The only weakness I found was the edge handling.The main problem in my area is inconsistent winds that change direction alot and can be 2 mph one minute and 20 mph the next. The Yin-Yang took it all with no problem. I fly this kite often and with a smile. |
