Carsten Domann’s Canard is an elegant design that makes the most of light winds. One of my favorite new toys, it’s perfect for pull-ups (getting the kite up to steadier winds by pulling in line to gain altitude alternated with letting out line as the kite drifts downwind) and for thermal soaring (flying in light updrafts, off parking lots, for instance). The fact that it has that 19th century/high-tech look is just icing on the cake. Made of ripstop polyester with graphite and fiberglass spars.7’-6” x 8’-0”. 52” case included (This product has a shipping length greater than 42" and can not be shipped to most international addresses). Wind range: 5 to 16 mph (and with some technique, 2 or 3 mph). Use 150-lb. Dacron line. (Less if you dare.-)
